The global financial crisis that began with failures of large financial institutions in the United States has rapidly evolved into a global economic crisis. In view of the same, the Department of Financial Studies, University of Delhi South Campus and University Grants Commission (UGC) present a colloquium on the ‘Implications for Corporate Strategy and Management Learning’.

The powerhouse discussion would begin with keynote address by Mr. Gagan Rai, the CEO&MD of NSDL. The proceedings would be divided into two technical sessions. With his vast experience, Mr. Subhomoy Bhattacharjee, Deputy Executive Editor, The Financial Express would take up the charge of moderation for the sessions.

The first technical session will discuss the Implications for Corporate Strategy. The speakers for the session comprise of Mr R.Nagarajan, ED, PFC; Mr. Sanjay Sinha, CEO, DBS Cholamandalam AMC; Mr. Saibal Ghosh, CIO, Aegon Religare Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and Mr. Kuljeet Singh,Partner, Ernst & Young.

The second technical session will discuss the Implications for Management Learning. The panel of speakers for the session consists of Dr. Subir Gokarn, Chief Economist, S&P, Asia Pacific; Mr. Juergen Fiedler, Director, DBOI; Ms. Vibha Batra, VP, ICRA Ltd. and Mr. Chris Burnley, Professor, Vancouver Island University.
