Alumni Team
The alumi team plays an important role in nurturing the bond between the Dpartment of Financial Studies and its alumni. The team organizes an alumni meet every year at three locations: Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai. The other activities of this team include the maintenance of the alumni database and acting as a liaisin for staying in touch with the alumni.
• Convention Team
Ever since the inception of the Master of Finance and control program, the annual convention has continued to provide a forum for the students to interact on various issues in the world of finance and network widely with the top Indian entrepreneurs and management experts from the academic and business worlds.
The convention 2007 was held to discuss the "Emerging scenario of Wealth Management". Always looking to better ourselves and understanding our present scenario, the convention 2008 will definitely be more interactive and industry focused.
• Corporate Communication Team
The objective of the Communications Team is to increase the visibility of the Department of Financial Studies brand through activities like advertising, participating in B-schools surveys, etc. The team will also try to get Department of Financial Studies a global exposure through the international relations programs.
• Newsletter Team
Department of Financial Studies publishes a newsletter giving information about the latest developments on campus and in the financial sector. It has manifested into a leading information provider on the department and its activities and hence holds a special appeal for readers.
• Placement Team
The aim of the placement team is to supervise and provide directions for the final placement and the summer internship of the students. To ensure that every student gats the best opportunity, the team sets very high standards for itself, and strives consistently to surpass them. In doing so, it plays a key role in the realization of the career and aspirations of the students.
