As a professional community the students of the MFC Programme are active and enterprising to augment the academic curriculum. These activities are organised under the aegis of Association of Finance and Control (AFCON) and are oriented towards inducting a close rapport with the corporate sector and to expose the students to the industry ambience.

In pursuit of this objective, an intimate association with the professionals of the industry is sought in the form of special lectures and seminars. Hand-in-hand with this, regular workshops, case-discussions and business games are conducted to effect a multidimensional growth of the students through their active participation in such extracurricular activities.

AFCON endeavours to integrate these activities into the normal curriculum and consequently widen the scope of the learning process.

The zenith of the AFCON activities is the Annual Convention which serves as a forum for discussion on contemporary financial issues. At the same time strengthening ties between the student body and the business community.
