The Department of Financial Studies as part of its AFCON activities conducts workshops on the Emerging Issues in Finance. Recognising the importance of Real estate and Housing Finance as a means for kick starting the Economy, the Department conducted a one day workshop on " Strategic Issues in Real Estate and Housing Sector" on 24th January 2002 at South Delhi Campus of the University. Mr. V.Suresh, the then chairman, HUDCO inaugurated the workshop. Prof. Deepak Pental, Director, South Campus, University of Delhi presided over the Inaugural session.
