AFCON Inauguration (XVIIIth batch)

The 2004 chapter of AFCON (Association of Finance and Control) was inaugurated on the 23 rd of July 2004 by Mr. Ameet Desai , Vice President , Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Planning , Ranbaxy Labs , at South Campus, University of Delhi.

In his inaugural address, he emphasized on the status of infrastructure in present day India . He stressed on India 's potential with regards to its infrastructure and abilities. He also mentioned certain mantras / lessons which could be implemented by the finance professionals for success. He spoke about the means to perform at the optimal level in the corporate sector and how to remain motivated to achieve the targets.
