UGC-SAP - AN INDUSTRY INTERFACE PLATFORM

The University Grants Commission (UGC) provides support to Department of Financial Studies under its Special Assistance Programme (SAP). This is done in recognition of the Department being a Centre of Excellence. It is an annual event held with an objective to nourish the industry linkages and amalgamate students' theoretical knowledge with the pragmatic insights of professionals. The event has been continually graced with the presence of prominent personalities from the corporate world and the academia.

UGC-SAP 2008

Building on the overwhelming success of UGC-SAP 2007, this year the seminar promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Based upon the theme of "Investing in Indian Financial Markets: Opportunities and Strategies" it seeks to look at the roster of contemporary investment avenues and their upcoming variants. An exclusive blend of interactive sessions on Mutual Funds, Real Estate, Investment in IPOs and Private Equity is, therefore, expected.
