Admission to the MFC program is done on the basis of a written a Joint Admission Test for MFC and MBE followed by group discussion and personal interview of the short listed candidates.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Graduate (under 10 + 2 + 3) / Post-graduate in any discipline, viz. Arts, Humanities, Commerce, Management, Social Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Engineering, Technology, Agriculture, Law, Pharmacy and Medicine with 50% marks, from the University of Delhi or any other University recognised as equivalent thereto.
Reservation
The Department reserves the seats for different categories as per the reservation policy of the University of Delhi. At present 15% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste category; 7.5% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe category, 27.5% seats are reserved for `Other Backward Classes’ category and 3% seats are reserved for physically disabled candidates. It is mandatory for each candidate applying in `physically challenged' category to appear before Medical Board of the University, with the necessary medical certificates on date and time notified. Eligibility for consideration under this category shall be at the sole discretion of the Medical Board of University of Delhi and the decision of the Medical Board, in this regard, shall be final. Admissions for `physically challenged' category will be done as per the rules and modalities specified by University of Delhi in this regard. Relaxation of 5% marks in eligibility will also be allowed to categories of SC/ST candidates and Children/Widows of the Officers and Men of the Armed Forces including Para Military personnel killed or disabled in action at wars. Foreign students studying in Indian Universities are required to appear in Admission Test.
In addition to the 46 seats, 4 seats supernumerary seats are available for foreign students. All foreign students need to apply through the Dean, Foreign Students, c/o Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 - (For further details visit http://www.du.ac.in). In case of foreign students who are not required to appear for the Test, preference will be given to those who furnish their latest GMAT and TOEFL scores. All foreign students are required to obtain NOC from the Department of Education, Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Note: The selected candidates must submit their final year results by September 15 each year, failing which their admission will be automatically cancelled.
Selection Procedure
The shortlisting of the candidates for admission to the MFC Programme will be done on the basis of their performance in Joint Admission Test for MFC and MBE, which seeks to test the aptitude of the candidates for studies in financial analysis and management. The Joint Admission Test consists of English Comprehension and Verbal Ability, Analytical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, Quantitative Ability and Current Business & Economic Environment. The result of the entrance test is expected by February each year.
The shortlisted candidates at the test shall be called for group discussion and personal interview in the month of March each year. The selection panel consists of, besides the faculty members of the Department, nominee(s) of Academic Council, if any, subject experts and industry professionals. Candidates called for group discussion and interview shall bear travel and other incidental expenses themselves. In all cases, the decision of the Admission Committee shall be final.
The application form duly completed (accompanied by a self-addressed envelope of size 10" x 4.5" bearing a stamp of Rs.25/-) should reach the office of the Department of Financial Studies, Room No.329, Department of Financial Studies, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Road, New Delhi 110021 latest by the stipulated time mentioned in the admission notification (Forms will not be accepted on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays). The application forms which have been downloaded from the website must be accompanied by a demand draft of required amount mentioned in the admission notification favouring - The Director, University of Delhi, South Campus and mailed to or submitted at Department of Financial Studies, Arts Faculty Building, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Road, New Delhi-110021.
SC/ST/OBC candidates and candidates applying in the physically disabled category must submit a copy of caste/medical certificate along with the form. Applications without valid caste/medical certificate are liable to be rejected summarily. The candidates are advised to contact the Department in case of any delay in receiving the Prospectus or Admission Ticket. The Department of Financial Studies will not be responsible for any postal delays. Disputes, if any, arising out of or relating to any matter whatsoever, concerning the process of admission shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Delhi only.
Age Requirements
The candidate should be minimum of 20 years on 1st October in the year in which admission is sought. (Relaxation of age limit up to a maximum period of one year on the basis of individual merit may be made by the Vice-Chancellor).
Fee Payable
At present the MFC students are required to pay an annual fee of Rs. 11,500 at the time of admission. The foreign students would have to pay an annual fee as per University rule. The fee may be revised from time to time by the University.
